Well I had my first day today at my clinical! It was a lot of fun and a little overwhelming. I love how fast pace it is and how fast the day goes by. Everyone is so nice and made me feel very comfortable. Each patient is so interesting and I love meeting each individual and hearing about their individual stories. The patient's today ranged from a 90 something precious little lady that lives alone in her own little apartment to a teenager who does drugs! I love the variablity in the patients! There are other students there so I feel very comfortable. I even have my own little desk area! I have a computer and a chair that pretty much sums up my desk. But, it was so cute this morning when I got there my computer had a big sign on it that said Welcome Sarah! It was so sweet. I know I have only been there one day but I already feel very comfortable with everyone! I am very excited and I hope my body gets use to the activity of walking around all day rather than being in class all day.
Oh yeah, today we went to the JcPenny outlet mall to look for some shoes for mom and I just figured that there would not be much else to look at. WELL, I loved it! Everything was a great price and the store was huge!!! They had everything! I will definitely need to make another trip there before I leave! I find something new that I love each day! One day when I come back here for vacation it will be great because I will know where all the good stuff is!
Well now it is time to go and veg out on the couch for a little.......

ReplyDelete...hmmm...the JC Penny Outlet sounds fun! :-) I have never heard of one of those! Sounds like KC can be a little dangerous on the pocketbook though. LOL! I will have to set myself a little budget when we come. ha!
